Terms of service

Version 1.3, effective 2026-10-26

These terms are an agreement between you, the business that signs up, and Layer Technology Group Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as MailDriver.ai ("MailDriver", "we", "us"). You agree to them when you tick the box on your proposal page and continue to payment. The version you agreed to, and the time, are recorded with your signup.

1. What we do

We run the direct-mail campaign described on your proposal page: we build a list of businesses that match your ideal customer, write and design a personal postcard and a personal web page for each one, and mail the postcards. Your proposal page sets the scope, the example idea and the price. Anything not on it is not included unless we agree to it in writing (a text or an email is enough).

2. How the campaign runs

After you sign up, we learn about your business and prepare the proposed campaign, and we show it to you. You either approve it or cancel (see section 4). Nothing is mailed until you have approved the campaign and we have checked and approved the final batch. We may decline to mail anything we believe is misleading, unlawful or harmful to our reputation.

3. Price and payment

The price is the total on your proposal page. It is made of the fees shown there and the price of your postcards, and it includes the printing and postage. It is a one-time payment for one campaign, paid in full at signup through Stripe. It is not a subscription, and nothing renews. Taxes, if any, are extra.

4. Refunds

  • Before you approve the campaign: if you decide to cancel after seeing the proposed campaign, we refund your payment in full.
  • After you approve the campaign: there are no refunds. From that point we start incurring costs on your behalf, in particular printing and postage, which cannot be recovered once the campaign is sent.
  • Pieces we cannot mail: if we cannot mail a piece in your campaign, we refund that piece at the per-piece price on your proposal page.
  • No chargebacks: by approving the campaign, you waive any right to dispute or charge back the payment with your bank or card issuer. If you have a concern, contact us first (section 12) and we will work with you on it.

5. What you give us, and what you promise

You give us accurate information about your business, your offer and your customers. You confirm that you may make every claim you ask us to make, and that your offer is lawful where it is mailed. You tell us about anyone we must not contact.

6. Results

Direct mail results vary. We do not promise any number of responses, meetings, customers or revenue.

7. Ownership

You own your brand, your content and the customers you win. We own our software, templates and methods, and the prospect list we build. You may use the cards and pages we make for your campaign. You do not receive a copy of the prospect list; on request, we provide the business name and mailing address of each business we mailed, for your records.

8. Data

Our privacy policy, below these terms, explains what we collect and how we use it.

9. Liability

Our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the campaign. Neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version you agreed to applies to your campaign. A new version applies only to a new signup.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute is heard in the courts of San Diego County, California.
